Castel Sant’Elmo is the Naples photography spot that makes the entire city legible in one glance. From the star-shaped fortress on the Vomero hill, the bay of Naples spreads below in every direction — Vesuvius on the eastern horizon, the islands to the southwest, the city dense between them, and the Campi Flegrei volcanic coast to the northwest. Getting to the Fortress
